Duties As a participant in the Recent Graduates Program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training to develop the required knowledge and skill to successfully perform the duties of the position. Analyzes technical and/or administrative personnel programs which support mission requirements and determines program effectiveness and efficiency. Collection of intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber defense incidents within the enterprise. Coordinates and provides expert technical support to enterprise-wide cyber defense technicians to resolve cyber defense incidents. Independently tracks and documents cyber defense incidents from initial detection through final resolution. Help Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen. This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination. Current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, will be placed on an Excepted appointment. Drug Testing Position. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.The recent graduates program targets individuals who have graduated recently from qualifying educational institutions or programs. To be eligible, applicants must apply within 2 years of degree or certificate completion, except for veterans precluded from doing so due to their military service obligations, who will have up to 6 years after degree or certificate completion. Successful applicants will be placed in a dynamic, career development program.
