Create a New Job in Resume Screening AI

Set up your job description to receive applications

First, log in to your Resume Screening AI account and create a new job posting:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and click "Create a New Job"
  2. Enter your job title, description, and requirements
  3. Include the skills, experience, and qualifications you're looking for
  4. Save the job to generate your unique job submission email

After creating your job, Resume Screening AI generates a dedicated email address specifically for that position. This is the key to the automation:

Set Up n8n to Forward Applications

Create your automation workflow

Now comes the automation magic. In n8n, you'll create a workflow that captures applications from your source (Google Form, ATS, or email) and forwards them to Resume Screening AI.

Option A: Google Forms Integration

If you're collecting applications via Google Forms:

  1. Add a Google Forms Trigger node in n8n
  2. Connect it to a Google Drive node to fetch the uploaded resume file
  3. Add an Email Send (SMTP) node
  4. Configure it to send to your job's dedicated email address
  5. Attach the resume file and include applicant details in the body

Option B: ATS Integration

For applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, etc.):

  1. Set up a Webhook Trigger in n8n
  2. Configure your ATS to send new application webhooks to n8n
  3. Use an HTTP Request node to download the resume from your ATS
  4. Forward to Resume Screening AI via the Email Send node

Option C: Email Forwarding

If candidates email applications directly:

  1. Add an Email Trigger (IMAP) node to monitor your inbox
  2. Filter for emails to your careers/jobs address
  3. Extract attachments using the built-in attachment handling
  4. Forward to your job's dedicated Resume Screening AI email

Important: one applicant per email

For accurate processing, n8n should forward one applicant per email. Each email should contain:

  • One resume attachment (PDF, DOC, or DOCX)
  • Applicant name in subject or body (optional but helpful)
  • Any additional notes about the candidate (optional)

What file formats does Resume Screening AI accept?

Resume Screening AI accepts PDF, DOC, DOCX, and common image formats (PNG, JPG). For best results, we recommend PDF format as it preserves formatting and is most reliably parsed.

What if I receive multiple resumes in one email?
